Skiing and snowboarding in Samnaun

With 238 km of slopes around Alp Trida and Idalp, the Samnaun ski resort (1400 – 2875 a.s.l.) is one of the biggest ski resorts in the Eastern Alps. One of the highlights amongst the 45 cable car and lift facilities, is the first double-deck cable car in the world with a capacity of 180 people.

Despite being a superlative ski resort, Samnaun has remained a family-friendly, comfortable and hospital mountain village in Grisons.

In a Europe-wide survey, the Snowplaza ski portal has determined the best ski resorts in the Alps. Among the Top 20 ski resorts, Samnaun was voted as being in 1st place. Hence, Samnaun received the Snowplaza Award “Top Ski Resort 2016”.
